There was a recent deal for used $30 XB1 controllers and another one for new $45 controllers. I bought 2 used ones back in the day for $25 each after shipping and taxes, so if you're patient enough they can be had for pretty cheap.

I should probably mention the kids got a Wii U for Xmas and we have 4 controllers from the Wii that we use with the Wii U so we spend most of our multiplayer gaming on that.

But, I do like the idea of setting a deal alert. It would be great to get the kids interested in a less-Nintendo vibe of game. Not that I don't still find MK8 tons of fun.
