Diablo II wont recognize my CD rom help!

I have the collectors edition and run it off my panasonic CD-r drive. it used to work fine until i got a voodoo5. all of a sudden it wont recognize my cd rom anymore. it would prompt me over and over for my play disc. i tried the blizzard support page but still doesnt work. i tried reinstalling it too. also my easy cd creator didnt recognize my cd-r drive but after i reinstalled EZCD it worked fine so i dont think its my CD-R. i have win98

no its the real thing. it used to work fine and all until recently when i got a bigger harddrive and a V5.

I doubt it is a problem with your CD-R because Panasonic drives are very good with CDs like that (using Safedisc copyprotection). Try reinstalling it.

Try loading the DOS drivers in config.sys......it worked for me.
