Diablo II ~6 years later

this game really held up well....
onto the expansion...
solo/ open bnet sucks these days.:/

lol i didnt play 6 years straight
its been an on off thing for the past 6 years, I cant say I own any other game that has that type of value.
altho i still really enjoy playing rise of nations/aoe2 as well.

Diablo 1 was the real mouse-killer. You had to click each time you took a swing

It really is a great game. I loved the expansion. The new items and runes were awesome.

I loved Diablo II. My favourite computer game ever. I had the #1 Ladder and Non-Ladder Necromancer on East. Never lost a duel. Wasn't bone, either.

Ahh... D2 was the first game that owned my life. Discovered it in 2000, played it full-time for probably 4 years, then occasionally since then. Oddly enough I still use the same trackball mouse I bought at the same time I purchased my first D2 copy. Talk about reliable! If anything ever happened to it I would cry.

I still long for D1 though, it has a touch of nostalgia now.

Now that Oblivion is out, I don't care about waiting for D3 anymore!

This thread brings back memories. D2 took 4 years of my life too. Too bad I lost all my accounts... and all my items. I remember being an item whore and having a ton of mules for all those uniques.

I log into mine ever 45-60 days to refresh them. I sold so much stuff on ebay that I feel I would be cheating myself if I let them expire. I really need to get an auction together and sell them.
