I don't mind the price since I've been a die-hard Diablo fan for over a decade, but do you guys think it's legit? He says it's brand new and unused, and I can pay by PayPal so if there's any problem I can get my money back, so I guess it's more or less safe to do? I think I'm gonna take him up on it unless you guys think it's s scam (but it does seem my money would be safe).

Well if you have to ask.... obviously should be no

On top of that the beta really isn't worth that price point, level cap last time I played was 13 or 14, and its really easy. Personally I'd rather preorder the collectors edition with that $125.

Edit

Also..
<------ PC Gaming that way

It's a scam. Beta is linked to his email so there's no way you will get the game even if he gives you the PW to his b.net account. All he has to do is change the PW with his email and you're out 125 dollars.

Yup. Tried selling my WoW account years ago but I got scammed, so I just told blizz someone stole it and got it back right away. There are certain security answers that blizz never changes and you cant change.

I'll sell you mine for $120. As a bonus you also get a WoW Cat account with a max level mage in maybe shitty gear unless I forgot to have it recovered.

He's selling you his battle.net account, and like several people already mentioned, it's really easy for him to steal it back from you at any time in the future.

All he needs to do a few months down the road is to make a call to Blizzard support, an hour or less of his time and he'll get the account back.
