diablo 2 reg key

apparently me and my cousin are sharing cd keys for diablo 2.. we each have our own keys, but bnet says we don't.. maybe he accidentally used mine, or used his.. but anyway.. does anyone know how to change this without reinstalling diablo? i've searched my registry for my key.. and i couldn't find it, so i'm guessing that isn't the way to do it.. or if it is, one of you more advanced users can tell me how... thanks in advance for all the help you can provide..

i think u can back up your single player data.. then reinstall.. i dont think the cd-key is in the registry.. maybe tho..

if you do end up reloading, just copy the save directory. then after you reload it, move it back. that backs up everything.

I've heard about a program on the battle.net forums that would accomplish this.
