Diablo 2 on win2k and win98se

I know this sounds strange but when I play the game on Win2k it seems alot more diffacult. The game always has many more ennemies on the screan at once and they are alway higher level then when I play it on the win98 partition.
Is this posible or am I just goin nuts????
 
I 2nd the vote for nuts.

I've plaued teh game on my win2k machine and my friend's win98 machines and it looks exactly alike to me.
