diablo 2 mods

What are the best mods for Diablo 2? I'm looking for ones that make tweaks to the game and one that completely changes the game (i.e. stainless steel for Total War2)

It looks like they are creating a 1.13 patch for D2...and they are letting fans submit ideas/changes to what they want to see

I downloaded the high res mod, it works but the game runs choppily at any res using it despite saying its at 150 fps. It's not playable but its fun to see d2 at 1920x1200.

Diablo 2 isn't really about the mods man, its about battle.net multiplayer, doing either dueling or pvm for gear / glory (ladder). Download hardcore hack mod, or edit your registry manually using a guide, and make a hardcore character on battle.net and try to level up to 70. Maybe make a magic finder to start out. You wont even think about mods after, you might forget to eat and sleep too. GLHF

Have you used this on batltenet, or single player only? If the former, did they banninate you?

Only used it on singleplayer, but honestly its only good for taking screenshots or to get an idea of what d2 would be like if they upped the resolution, its not playable, and I don't think its because of my hardware. Hopefully blizzard ups the res to at least 1024x768 in the upcoming 1.13 patch.
