If they do, I managed to somehow pull mine up after 9 months or so of not playing.

As far as playing on line, it really has a lot of advantages.

there are videos included in the link that shows them clearing the ubers and uber tristram. Apparently they had to restart twice after a sorc died on 2 seperate attempts. It looks pretty legit to me, at the very least the uber kills in the videos look legit.

We only see one persons inventory. They all could have been str glitched or been on a fake realm server(Which do exist and can be made to look and act exactly like real realms)... Plenty of video magic could be done too.

I'm still skeptical.

At blizzcon jay wilson commented on how 8 players from germany had gone through the game in hardcore mode without items or help from town, when asked about whether diablo 3 was going to have a hardcore mode. He basically said he definitely wants a hardcore mode.

If Jay Wilson is talking about it, I'd say its pretty much confirmed imo.

Just played for 2 hours. Got 100,000 gold and bought myself a nice wand from the vendor. Next goal is to get to act 4 and aquire more gold and some runes. The ultimate goal is to get enough support to start a new sorc to start mf runs for shacko/etc from hell meph.

I've restarted D2 so many times, each time getting a little faster/better at it.. Always make the same characters for the same purposes and get to the point where I am farming torches and selling powerleveling for fgs in uber tristram. Then it is kinda boring cus you beat the game.

I just started doing torch runs with another Anandtecher, it's a good bit of fun but not as difficult as I thought it would be.

Depends on your equipment and your build... It is very difficult if you don't have the good stuff.

Works out well for he and I (although he can do it by himself pretty easily). He's a trap/kick assassin and I'm a zealot with 1 pt in smite. Meph's conviction aura still hurts pretty bad but he's only killed me once. More annoying for me is the IM whilst running to Mephisto.

happy to give you a rush or something. My lvl 92 or 93 hammerdin just sits idle these days since all I really do is duel on my main softcore acct.

Best bet to catch me is add *Jeeebus_5 (my softcore acct).

Mine just got banned... again... you can buy CD keys online for like $5 bucks though!
