I was playing diablo just now.. and some lvl 83 Necro all of a sudden hostiles me and comes looking for me in cold plains..
I was helping my friend out at the time with my 75 thunderstorm sorc. and my thunderstorm hits him and he dies..

but he keeps on coming for more.. and keeps on dying.. then......................

his corpse POPS~~~ lol
got 2 sojs and some other stupid stuff off him..

I would have given him his stuff back but he was being a bitch so i didnt.. but I left him his more stupid items for him to keep. Like trang oul's bracers and shield thingy

moral of this story = dont go around hostiling ppl. otherwise you might have gotten your stuff back..

BHAHAHAHHAHA what an idiot. Im surprised he didn't know this. When you die and when you are returning for your corpse, if you die while trying to go and retreive your corpse, you drop some equipped items.

Do you know how many times you killed him?

Nice... while we're on the subject of D2 I found a etheral cruel balrog blade of quickness today. 400 one hand, 600 two hand damage with 40% ias!! Now has 2 sockets and I put a ZOD in one of the sockets. I joined barb duels and was owning everyone.

the thing is, that its also a ethereal item and it has 1757 defense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you need to check whether or not the zod is worth more than the item. i think zod is going for close to 10 sojs. no point socketing a zod on an item that ain't worth much. kinda like the old saying about a rose on a pile of dung

im making a new sorc (hydra/cb/ts) and i get hostiled by a lvl 80 zon while im lvl 10, so i get my 87 zon and made an easy 500k

you dont have to pay for D2 (battle.net)
but since its free, there'll be jackasses here and there, which leads to the whole point of this thread

gems sucks compare to runes. cow runs on hell are good places to level up while having decent chances of finding rares but realize there are also at most 7 other guys there who will compete in grabbing it. i say level up like mad on cow and do hell boss runes for good rares.

there's a nice pattern to leveling up fast but it requires you make good friends with high level people.

1) level up to 20. shouldn't be hard.
2) get a high lvl to help u beat ancients in normal. should give you 5 lvls up automatically.
3) level up til 40.
4) get high lvl guy to help you beat ancients in nightmare. should be 47-48 now.
5) join hell games that runs act1-5 quick so you have access to cow.
6) by now you should be 50. just join cow runs in hell and leech like mad! you should hit 60-70 in no time. maybe less than an hour.
