Diablo 2 LOD question please, thanks!

ok, i have a lvl 50 sorc now, and i maxed out nova. how come i cant use any of my skill pts on frozen orb, or other spells? how would i go about doing this? please help my poor poor soul...

btw, cow runs in hell are fun.

Did you put points in all the pre-reqs to those skills you're trying to use? I believe the skill trees have arrows that point down to the next skill you can acquire after putting a point in it, so for Orb you'd need to get All the skills that come before it. If I remember correctly, that would be Ice Bolt, Ice Blast, Glacial Spike, Frost Nova, Blizzard, and maybe another one I'm forgetting...

ohhhhhhhh.... i c. i dont think i did that. but the other one i maxed out nova, and 16 into static field and i still cant get the one after nova.

What's after Nova? Thunder Storm? To get that you need points in Charged Bolt, Lightning, Chain Lightning.......I think? It's been so damn long since I've played

I don't play Diablo 2 anymore, but I log on every 80 days to all 4 of my accounts so my windforces/grandfathers/arkaine's/dual leech rings/bugged items/ etc won't dissappear.

how the hell did you make it to level 50 without a basic understanding of how the skill tree works?!
