My accounts are still active as I let a friend use them, but I haven't played in about four months. D2 is like a coke addiction; it's never really out of your blood. I went cold turkey for about two years, started up about a year ago, and am back in cold turkey mode.

I'll occasionally load it up just to make sure my godlehs are still there, but that's about it.

my pally is: act_princess as well

so just friend list me. i think my pally can probably rush people through normal now, though i dunno. I can dominate baal and all his minions, but i still have trouble getting to diablo for some reason. Too many mobs and Pally's don't do well with large groups of minions.

so just friend list me. i think my pally can probably rush people through normal now, though i dunno. I can dominate baal and all his minions, but i still have trouble getting to diablo for some reason. Too many mobs and Pally's don't do well with large groups of minions.

Ok I'm looking at getting on after next week... hunting in WI. Are you on the hardcore ladder or normal ladder?
 
I'll install Diablo again in the next few days and try to catch you guys on bnet. I have a 90+ bone nec on esl now.

normal, screw hardcore, i've died at least 219414890 times

and someone needs to rush my druid through normal. he can't do sh!t until lvl 18 and i can't get there without any skills/by myself

lol. it's a wind druid. my first attack spell is at lvl 18 (yes, arctic blast is lvl 6, but it doesn't synergize, and it SUCKS), so wtf am i supposed to do until then?

I wish I could have two clients open so i could rush myself with my pally 😛
 
This thread makes me want to start playing again. I havent played in over a year. We should have a list of all players here and play online 🙂 Even start an AT Clan lol. If I start I'll come back on here and ask for help.
 
I wasted over 1,100 hours of my Freshman/Sophomore years of college glued to my screen playing Diablo II (1.08-1.09 FTW!). I quit when 1.10 came out...thought it was stupid.

Big into Amazon and Paladin PvP games in USEast (had some of the best in USEast once upon a time). Lvl 98 bow/javazon w/Windforce, bugged 1.08 Arkaines Valor, 1.08 Vampire Gaze, and the works; Lvl 99 zealot Pally w/Fury Zerk/Seriph Rod/Cryptic Sword/Zod'd etheral Baranar's Star, 1.08 Gaze/bugged arkaines/stormshield for one setup, Shaftstop/stormshield/and the exceptional unique crown (whatever it was, can't remember the name) with max life leech for the other setup. 1.10 compltely destroyed the game though. Most melee builds that I enjoyed were rendered obsolete, so I gave my accounts away and threw in the towel.

Gosh, those were the days. I sure hope they make a Diablo 3! Course, my social life might suffer...alot...if they do!
 
looks like Rip the Jacker has gotten a lot of people back into D2 😛 lol, this game is still so awesome.

YES, I'm playing. For the last month or 2 i've been playing add me:Marands if you want. 88 sorc and a 84 faithzon. Great to see the old game get some attention. Great game.

I've been playing a mod with my brother every now and then. It's called Median 2008 and it's a lot of fun. I'm playing a barbarian focusing on throwing axe attacks with defender summons using the bear stance(resists) currently. My first character was a paladin that worked very well all through the first difficulty using an AoE knockback attack with a single hammer spell, but the next difficulty up is quite difficult for him. The amount of uniques, rune words, jewel words, etc. is staggering, and the boosted difficulty gives you a bit of a challenge. The harder modes are unknown to me yet, but from what I've read normal mode is nothing compared to the later difficulties.
 
Yes make AT clan, we can even set-up a separate forum which will list
1. people who play
- their chars
2. current games?
3. east/west/etc
4. items and stuff


I think i can get a forum up and running, dammit you and your COCAINE addicting game lol. I just need to hold away from game for 3 weeks then holidays = Diablo II = no life

I got 2 comps and 2 sets of CD keys btw 🙂

fight monsters within 5 (or is it 10?) levels of you. that's about it really. if monsters above/below that limit, you'll only receive 5% of the XP that you would normally get. otherwise, /players 8 is your only option

Thanks Fenixgoon. I got a couple of characters that like to reach lvl 99 and it's taking a long time, I was hoping there was a mod or something. I don't want to resort to using a character editor either. Guess is more boring baal runs. 🙁



 
Seriously, I say, lets play latest expansion pack, in private Bnet games. Torches are ownage! Tristam is crazy fun! And if we find ourselves struggling we can always get some duped stuff (runes for MANY MANY runewords!!).

Do you want me to create a forum especially for ATOT closed playing? I think I have 1 mysql database left on my host...
