adult stem cell =/= embryonic stem cell

We know, this was adult stem cell research.

But Embryonic has even more potential. It has the ability to cure nearly all diseases.

IF you can figure out how to control them. BTW, you don't need to use an embryo for this level of success with stem cells - they are available from the placenta and umbilical cord after birth, which don't require destroying embryos.

Those still aren't as good.

Potential - it's all about potential. Some people don't agree with destruction of known life (embryos) in pursuit of Possibly helping others especially when other methods are available. Besides, science is no where nearly advanced enough to control the growth of cells accurately enough to use embryonic cells.

Exactly the reason why we need more research. Too bad religious zealots will do everything in their power to thwart progress. Better to have millions of people die unneccessarily and spend billions on medical care instead of unlocking the capabilities of embryonic stem cells.

Due to the religious rights preventing enough research.
