Whenever the router attempts to connect, it'll receive a PADT message and it'll disconnect. I am absolutely sure that the username and password are entered correctly for the PPPOE connection. I typed them into a text document and copied and pasted. I can connect if I plug the computer straight into the DSL modem. I set the connection on the router as a dynamic PPPOE connection (which is what I have with Pacbell).

I have the same problem with the 614+.

I bought the 614+ hoping to replace my old 713P wireless router. When I try to connect to my DSL ISP, Earthlink, I just keep getting PADT messages. I called DLink tech support and they were pretty useless. They had me do stuff I had already done. Then they told me a level 2 tech support person would call me back that same day. They never called and I called them back and they said that according to the notes in the computer, my issue was resolved. They again promised to have a level 2 tech support guy call me back that same day, and after 2 days of no call back, I returned the 614+.

I'm back to useing my 713P until they release a firmware fix.

Thanks for the answer. At least I know that I'm not doing something wrong now. They have a firmware (version 2.0) update out but for some reason, I can't update to that. It'll just tell me that the version is incompatible. So far, this router has been a big disappointment.
