Hello,
I was trying to set up a temporary webserver and have been encountering difficulty. I am on a DSL connection thru a DI-614+ wireless router. I saved myself a static IP outside the DHCP range and created a Virtual server on port 42000 of the WAN on port 80 on my IP on the LAN. I am using Apache 1.3 Win32 and I set the correct port and it works fine from my machine (127.0.0.1) however it cannot be accessed either from the LAN or the WAN. Any ideas? I tried this while under DHCP also, and with ports 80/80, 42000/42000, 80/42000, and 42000/80 and no combo seems to work. This is the only place that port forwarding seems to be assignable on the web interface for the router. Any ideas?
Also, I can use the internet from this PC and I can see the rest of the network as can they see me, just the webserver doesn't seem to work other than locally.
