Encouraging killing, death, violence, riots or a race war should not be a protected form of free speech.

How religious hate groups like Westboro have gotten away with doing it so far is simply unconscionable and incomprehensible when you stop to think about it. Your inalienable rights to endlessly protest and vocally whine and encourage violence about something should legally stop if it directly encroaches on the rights of someone else to be left alone in privacy and peace.

Protesting and petitioning the government over grievances is not even remotely the same thing as hatefully protesting outside your neighbors house and following them around like a stalker just because you may not like them.

No matter how repulsive many think their preachings are,the Westboro church has gotten away with nothing, they advocate no violence or harm to anyone unless you believe god exists and will damn all gays, and outside of noise ordinances you have no right to privacy or peace in a public place

Hate speech is a slippery slope that can easily be abused, since one man's criticism of something could be considered blasphemy by another.
