DHL delivered to the wrong address! complain?

I ordered an SD300 from Dell, and I've been refreshing my tracking info from DHL every fifteen minutes, until I finally noticed today that it said "delivered". So I rush home, only to find no package at my door, nor any in the rental office. I re-check the tracking page, which says that it was signed for by "LD FD <my address + 100>", which means it was locally delivered to the front door of the apartment a few doors down from mine. I went over there and knocked and thankfully the person (let's call her Nadia) had my package (opened, but everything on the packing list accounted for), and handed it over.

My question is, can I accomplish anything at all by complaining to DHL? The package clearly states my address, not my address + 100, which it was delivered to. I don't really want to get anybody fired, but if I could get some kind of recompense (like claim that the package never arrived at my apartment, and they better pay me for it), that'd be great.. I also don't want to involve Nadia. I'm guessing I should probably just sit on my hands and be glad it arrived eventually. thoughts?

who cares, I wanna hear more about nadia

if she's opening up your packages, order yourself a bunch of porn and have it delivered to her house

It was because they didnt know where your address was. So they just delivered to the one they knew about.

that's my first question.

and yes, complain.

Well when a package comes to my house and I sign for it, I usually proceed to open the package. I rarely will go and check to see if I am actually the intended recipient.

that's a good question. now that i've gone back to my apartment though, i don't want to walk back over there and say "say, why'd you open my package"? i imagine she either was curious or didn't realize that it wasn't for her.

alright, i'm not sure if that went way over my sarcasm detector's tolerance or what. if you weren't being serious, ignore the rest of this post. if you were, however... are you being freaking serious ?? how do you find a street address? my address (not +100) is clearly printed on the package. there are various search methods, but most of them end with a double-check.

hm, ok, maybe i picked a poor fake name for nadia: i don't want to make her seem exotic or anything, she's white and not hot (at least as far as i'm concerned)
