DHCP wont stay authorized on Server 2008

i setup DHCP on a Windows 2008 Server. Its also running AD and DNS. I set it up and authorized it and it was working fine until the server restarted. after the server restarts for any reason i have to go in and authorize it. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas??

first step - check event logs. i haven't run into this issue before, but there will probably be an event logged for this in the system log.
