Hi,

I am new in this Forum but i have one issue . I need to Splitt a D-Link Switch (but not with a ax) in to different Network, and i would to activate a QoS -> Bandwidth Control on the group of Ports, but the Local Network don't must be influced of the Network speed limitation.

i have tryed with the Link Aggregation but i don't have internet after the configuration.

Have any of your one idea how to configure this ?

Best Regards

Link aggregation isn't going to be what your after. That would be like if you had two segments with the same switch on either side. You could set up a link agg group between them and connect them with multiple cables to increase bandwidth between segments.

QOS is probably what you need, but I'm not familiar with your switch.

Ok Thanks, Yeah but in the QoS i have this options. Have any one a idea. Thanks

That option is exactly what I thought it was then. It's for creating multiple links (a trunk) between two switches to increase the bandwidth between sections.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to do what your hoping with just the switch.

You almost need a router that can do traffic shaping or bandwidth limiting. I run pfsense, and I'm pretty sure it'll do it. Actually I think you can even limit certain LAN ip's bandwidth usage.
