DG965WH with e3300?

Hey all, I'm trying to build a very basic machine based on an LGA775 chip and DDR2 ram. The machine will be used for 0 gaming, and for the short term will be a windows server 2008 test bed....later on it may become a file server with many hard drives (as many as 15-16 i would think).

The big thing is, I'm trying to do this on a major budget.

A few quick goals: I'd like to have 4 banks for memory as I may be loading it up with some virtual machines.

Onboard video would be nice.
Cheap cheap cheap.

For a processor, the Celeron e3300 seems like a good bet...cheap, decent speed, dual core chip.

I like the DG965WH board a lot, theres one on the FS/FT forums right now. lots of PCI-e slots available, so the long term seems supported. This board seems perfect for me, but one catch: The intel website doesn't show the e3300 as a supported CPU.

Anyone think that this combo might work? Looking for some advice.

Thanks!

EDIT: Just fyi: I don't NEED to go LGA775...but the e3300 seems like a good chip for what I need. I do have 2x1gb DDR2 laying around, as well as a case, psu (but not one big enough for a decent video card...not that Id need it), and hard drive.

I'm really looking to spend like 60-80 bucks tops, less the better.

Hmmm interesting. Didn't try searching for other cpu's based on the same process....the e3300 just gave me nothing but japanese websites.

blehhh....maybe I should just try hunting around for an e6300 and be done with it?
