Hi guys.
We run DFS on our 5 branch servers which are connected through a WAN. Anyways, some NTFS permissions were changed on a folder last night (this folder is 500MB) and over a 384kb/s connection, replicating this to all other servers is going to take a long time and its creating a huge backlog- files are not getting replicated until the following day.
Now the folder that was changed is not very important so I have removed it from the DFS target, but the frs-staging folder is still 500MB. Removing it from the DFS target, I would have thought that a delete request would be sent out to all other partners and that the staging folder would decrease as it no longer needs to copy these over?
Can I manually delete the files from the staging area or how do I go about this?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
