DFI ?

What ever happened to DFI MB's. That was the first MB I tried to O.C. on and it was a amazing board for that.

I am not sure, if they did it is too bad the DFI MB I had and the EVGA classified were the two best MB I ever had for Over clocking.

Their claim to fame came during the NF3/NF4 days DFI LP were the only ticket to high FSBs especially if you wanted to OC a Opty 165, despite being very finicky in their operation. When C2D came along, $90 965P/P35 boards easily hit 500 FSB and since most Core 2 OCs doesn't need such a high FSB anyway...There was little reason to buy DFI anymore; simply offering nothing substantial over the much cheaper competition to justify the cost and the quirks.

Early DFI boards were great, then they sank to being average performers with lots of annoying quirks, and then finally out of the market.

the only DFI motherboard I ever purchased was a lanparty nforce2 and it was DOA (maybe 7yrs ago?)
might have worked for 1 or 2 days, can't even remember now

although I did like their enthusiast/overclocker focus

They still make the oddball industrial motherboard with things like ISA slots and multiple serial (RS-232) ports.
