DFI X48 board with 4850X2

Hi,

I have a DFI LanParty LT X48-T2R motherboard. I bought it June 08. Anyway, it works perfectly with my current 9800GTX. However, I've just bought a Sapphire 4850X2 2GB card, and now it refuses to boot up. The on board LED either hangs at "26", or gives a few beeps at "26" and moves on, without any display on my monitor.

I've read that there are compatibility problems with DFI boards and 4870X2 cards. Do these incompatibilities extend to the 4850X2 boards? If so, is there any fix for it?

Have you updated the BIOS on the DFI board?

One of the earlier BIOS releases (the one dated 2008-07-25) for the LP LT X48 has this note:

1. Fixed system can not display with some Graphic card.
