DFI UT NF4 Karajan Audio Issues

I've been messing with the Karajan front inputs and have discovered an issue with the mic. First, I'm using an Antec P160 case. (just reviewed on AnAnd here Finally)

I'm hooking the front inputs from that case to the Karajan modual and 1) there aren't the same number of connections for the mic. (3 pins from the case and 4 to hook to on the Karajan) I've got a Mic, mic bias, and audio ground from the case, and a mic L, mic R, GND, and Vcc on the Karajan. I've got case Mic and Bias going to L & R and ground to ground and that works. BUT, if I unplug the mic from the front inputs I get distorted/staticy sound/music, so I must leave it pluged in all the time. If I unplug the mic front input lines from the Karajan it's fine also. I'm thinking it may be some sort of grounding problem. Possibly that one missing pin/connector causing it? (what's Vcc? for)

I wondered if anyone else had problems with front inputs and static/distortion and this board (DFI UT NF4 Ultra-D).

Just a FYI, if you don't hook any of the jumpers up that came on it (or front inputs) there's no sound at all.
