So my Value Select has been a nightmare with my Ultra-D. Random reboots, BSODs, and crashes galore(even in memtest!). So I'm giving up on it and sending it back. For those who haven't been burned, what RAM are you using. I'd sure like to finally get this rig running right.

See sig... The patriot XML ram is very good w/ the DFI mobo. Right now my a8n-sli is DOA POS...

I'm not oc'ding the DFI until a official bios release, I don't want to mess w/ something that hasn't given me a single problem.
Currently using the bios that shipped w/ the mobo..

Good Luck.

Jose

yeah, check out RGone's thread. I have 1 gig of corsair value select, and ran through memtest flawlessly.

As MTSteel mentioned adjust the max asynch latency. I also turned off bank interleave (this is supposed to drop a lot of volts so "mediocre" memory runs), and I also set the read preamble to 5X. Rgone has some more settings, but those are the 3 I did in regards to ram to get everything running fine.

The only other adjustments I made was disabling cpu throttling, disabled errata, and move the pci payload down. Haven't had a hitch yet.
