I flashed my bios today and encountered a new problem with the onboard NVIDIA Lan. The windows has difficulty to obtain the IP address but it slowly go through. After connected, I couldn't go on line. The Mac address was changed to 00 00 00 00 00 00 00. It seems that flashing bios nullifies the mac address. According to DFI website, I manaully added the Mac address, but the problem still exists.
I ran the Everest and the Mac addressre reports correct. Does any one have a solution for this problem?
I googled, and found someone has same problem here. BTW, my homework has no problem since my other computer can go on line properly. And I didn't use the marvell one.
Hope you guys can help me out!!
P.S I solve this problem. Inbios seeting, it should be as
MAC LAN is set to AUTO
MAC MEDIA INTERFACE is set to RGMII or Pin strip
The bios flashing not only nullified Mac address, but also change MAC MEDIA INTERFACE to MII. Resetting it to RGMII or Pin strip solves the whole problem.
