The extra 4 ATA ports on the DR boards won't be locked (IIRC). Meaning that they might not be very useful if you plan on doing overclocking. And if you're not doing overclocking, the DFI boards are overkill.
I can't think of any devices I personally need a parallel port for.

so basically your saying the dr series boards won't overclock as well because the four extra ports aren't locked?
