Using 2 sticks of 2700 Samsung ram (they can run 400DDR). Problem is whenever I put 2 sticks in, I get blue screens in Windows, randomly. I've tried all the slots, underclocking the ram, using 1/2,etc.. Also tried loading the cmos defaults, no luck. I also tried undervolting the RAM to 2.5v, but it won't stick there..

is this a board issue ora ram issue? My ram worked just fine in my old system..

I don't wanna be forced to upgrade my mem as well :(

It's a compatibility issue. Your RAM can not run at DDR400 with this board / processor with the settings you're using now. A few suggestions:

1) Use 3-3-3-8 timings;
2) 2.6 or 2.7V for Vdimm;

If that doesn't work you may have to run it at DDR333.

Chinese: Like I said I tried running them at 333, will crash anyways. Voltage is at 2.6, maybe I should try 2.7.

ribbon: right now, an Antec TruePower 550.OCZ PowerStream 420 in a few days.
