DFI SLI Power consumption question...

Ok, the 4pin, 24 pin are next to each other and that's cool. What gets me is the additional 2 power plugs in the middle of the board. Does anyone have info on them?

According to DFI you should use all (4) of them. They provide system stabilty with or without dual GPUs.

I had to upgrade power supplies just to get 2 dedicated rails for those extra 2 connecters

My Allied 450 watt has just enough connectors to provide dedicated rails to everything in my system. I don't have SLI, but hope to in the near future...
