DFI SLI - DR Expert

I want to buy the DR Expert from DFI but i'm not sure whether i'll have problems mounting a thermalright heatsync on it with out hindering any ram slots or PCI - E slots, any suggestions or precautions i should take? FYI . i'm going the 165 route 😉
 
You really should check out www.dfi-street.com for anything related to DFI mobos, your question was probably answered there more than enough times. I doubt that fan would give you trouble anyways, but do check out that site....actual DFI workers maintain that site and its probably the best support forum out of all the mobo manufacturers. I recommend you to bookmark that site and read through their recommendations for the other components (PSU & RAM especially). Otherwise I see you pulling your hair out trying to get this to work, definitely not a board for noobs...do the research.

BTW, I have the SLi-DR Lanparty, which your particular board was based on, and I spent 13+ straight hours getting the thing to work, but dfi-street had all the answers...only if i had searched from the start :disgust: but the board is awesome, no regrets, was a great learning experience.
