DFI SLI-DR Expert memory woes

After much tweaking of my tCL, tRCD, tRAS, tRP, ect settings I've come to the conclusion that my DFI LanParty SLI-DR Expert board doesn't much like my 512x4 OCZ EL PC-3500 Gold GX memory. While my ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe was able to run the memory at 2-2-2-6 (2T) the DFI board has a fit if I try to run it any faster than 2.5-3-3-7 (2T). Has anyone else experienced difficulties running 4 sticks of ram on this board at tight timings?

I'm about ready to give up on the OCZ memory and buy myself something else. I'll either try to get my hands on a set of Mushkin BH5 PC3500 LV2 (as I already have some) and run 4 sticks of that or I'll try 2 1gig sticks.

Can anyone reccommed a good set of fast 1gig modules that'll run on the DFI board at 2-3-2-5 (1T)? Thanks.

Run memtest and see if you have bad sticks. I had some corsair XMS that could only run at 3-3-3-8 and standard HTT and clock speed on the CPU, and it turns out it was because I had one slight flaw in one of the chips. Caused instability at tighter timings and higher clocks.

go to dfi- street.... you cannot expect those timings with all 4 slots filled. just try it in the orange slots with only two sticks first.

I bought a 1gb DC kit= PDP PC4800 XBLK+ DDR600... guaranteed to run 8-3-3-2.5-1T @ DDR600. I've memtested it at DDR610 at those timings with no errors.... have not tried higher....yet!!

Found the best deal at ZZF= $185 shipped.
