I've been running my system with 2GB of RAM for 3 months. Recently I've been doing some work that is causing my system to run out of memory, so I ordered another pair of identical memory.

DFI Lanparty UT NF4 SLI-DR
AMD 64 4400+ X2
4 sticks of OCZ PC3200 1024MB EL Dual CH Platinum Edition

When ever I have the 4 sticks of memory in, the system will not run, I don't even get the chance to go into Bios. The system runs with either pair of sticks by themselves in either set of memory slots.

I have enabled and disabled the Memory Hole MMIO for 4GB or more support and no difference.

I've set the memory for 333hz same outcome.

Hopefully I'm just missing something obvious to one of you out there.

OK. I got the system running with 4GB of RAM in it. But now XP PRO and the bios still say I only have 2GB while the CPU-Z says I have 4GB.

I also found out through CPU-Z that I have one set of memory that are 2 OCZ4001024ELPE's (Marked as OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K's that I ordered). They only have a Trc of 2.5 and not 2. Maybe thats my problem why the OS and bios won't see more than 2GB?

To get 4GB to boot, you have to set the Memory Hole MMIO to enable, and the CPC to Disable (Auto won't work) so it runs 2T. I had the CPC set to Auto, believing it would take care of itself, silly me.

Hi-end CAD System, Very large job with many componets. I ran out of memory, can't work anymore on it.
