the new slk-900a doesn't need mounting holes compared to the slk-900u.. if you have 45 bucks to spare. :) IMO, this heatsink is better than the aero lite 7 without the need for mounting holes ;).

I just really want to use the DFI NFII Ultra board but i just need to find a good heat sink from newegg for a good price. UNDER 40 dollars

it'll work.. here ya go.

Mounting Clip

Coolermaster changed the clip of the aero lite, their previous mounting clip interfered with the first memory bank module. Their previous mounting system was great, it went on and off very easily without having to use a lot of force. This one looks more simple, and will probably be more difficult to install, more on this later.

Final Words

I was a bit annoyed with the mounting clip, at one point I was afraid to damage my core, so be careful when you put it in your system.

it seems that it'll fit, but you have to be careful.

Senate:

this is a reply from the lab in Taiwan:

Travis,

We do have this cooling fan in our lab. It worked perfectly fine with NFII. (Aero7+)

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask either in this thread, or in a PM!
