DFI nF4 Ultra-Infinity MB

Anyone try the DFI nF4 Ultra-Infinity Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra yet? Seems like a much better deal then the Lanparty Ultra-d or Lanparty SLI assuming you don't care about SLI and the fancy color scheme. Apparently this board has everything the lanparty's do except 3 fan spots on the mb instead of 5, no SLI, 1 less LAN, and no fancy colors. It has all the overclocking features and everything else. I'm thinking about using this for my new build to save myself $30 bucks or so.

I noticed this board because of the new Motherboard price guide on Anandtech mentioned it.

I found a user-posted review on...er...I forget a forum last night. Google DFI Infinity NF4 user review maybe.

It appears to have the same big, complicated bios as the Lanpartys.

It has 'Japanese capacitors'

It performs pretty much the same as the other 'budget' Ultras (it was compared to a ECS Extreme and beat it by a little bit in each test)

It will do a 300mhz fsb, if I remember right.

Well, now thats the SLI board...o no. Maybe that's not what I was looking at last night.

i'd spend the extra $$ and get the LP nf4-d or ultra-d.

i sent my infinity back after a week. it wasn't terrible but the bios are. i asked at dfi for some clarification of what some of the terms actually mean and AG (a mod and dfi employee if you don't know) told me he was waiting on some input from taiwan as to what the hell they do.

also, if you are at all sensitive to noise plan on replacing the chipset fan before installing the board. it will save you the trouble of pulling everything apart later. i'm no silent freak but i thought something was wrong when i first booted.

allegedly one of the latest bios allows you to turn it down some but i've seen some who can't find the option in bios and some that can find it say it doesn't work.

the nf4-d is just $10 more

That board isn't Nforce 4 Ultra so it lacks features.
