I had my system running (sometimes) with a seasonic S12 500 W PS, which is apparently incompatible with this MB- the power supply is defective in this application (many have reported the same issues with this PS). Anyway, I replaced the S12 with an OCZ Modstream 520 W PS in the EXACT same configuration that was working (when I could get it to boot at all) and now I can only get to the point where the four diagnostic LEDs count down to two and then stalls. I've checked every connection and reset the BIOS (just in case) but the problem persists. Any ideas?

well, the 2 leds indicates a ram problem have you moved your ram or jostle it while installing the new psu?

did you try reseating it or just one stick? or is that a 1x 1024? if so try the orange slot nearest the edge of the board.

Definately try one stick, that was the problem with my motherboard at first. Then after I installed Windows with 1 stick, I put the other in and it worked.

Thanks for the tips on the RAM- that was the first thing I checked since it stopped on the second to last LED. What ended up working was I disconnected all of my drives except the boot drive and the system POSTed up first try. I had to re-identify the priority of boot drives in the BIOS, then it booted into WinXp fine. I then started adding in the other drives one at a time and re-loading windows, now all of the drives are working 100% and so is everything else. Nothing changed but the system works now- go figure

Thanks again for the help guys!
