Hi , I bild a new X2 system with 1 gig of ram , to my surprise BF2 need 2 freaking gig of ram to run properly... since I allready bought 2x512 OCZ winbond value.. I dont have the cash right now to buy 2 other 512 OR 2 x 1gb..

So I got 2 old 512 Corsair TWINX 466 mhz do you guys think I can fit those two together with my winbond ??? because right now even if I put the timing to 2t and 333mhz the BIOS still deteck 1gb of ram DARN !!!

at least I just want to use it couple day so I can get couple more $$$

Thats weird cause my X2 3800+ (oc'ed to 2.4 ghz) runs BF2 extremely smoothly on high graphics settings. I have a gig of RAM like you and a GeForce 6600 GT
