I want to attempt some overclocking with opteron 165, mobo in title, OCZ pc4000 memory.
Can someone "dumb" down the BIOS and give a short helpful guide for the NEED to knows?
I played with the BIOS a little last night and changed the FSB from 200 to 275, but after that I believe I need to raise my Vcore. No matter what item I selected the voltages stayed gray (can't change)
How do I change my Vcore settings.
I know what the FSB is/does and that my Opteron is locked at 9x multipler. I did not see anywhere to change multiplier (can't go lower?)
I see something about PCI-E freq at 100MHz but can be adjusted, is that so it is locked?
There are a couple items I am missing.. Cool-n-Quiet mode, not sure what thats about.
Any help would be appreciated. The most I have done for OC was a P4 and that was just manipulating FSB and multipliers, as well as a little tweaking of memory.
