DFI NF4 Ultra BIOS and Venice

Here's a problem I hope someone can help me with. I have a new DFI NF4 UT and am waiting to get the A64 Venice cpu. I just read that I need to get the new BIOS that supports the Venice. How the heck do I load the new BIOS that supports Venice if the only processor I have is a Venice core to begin with?

1) Borrow a Winchester or earlier core CPU to flash.

2) Pull the EEPROM and flash it in another board with a CPU already installed.

3) Take the board to a local PC shop and see if they'll do it for a reasonable fee.

The BIOS you need is version 310.

It hasn't been confirmed that the older bios's won't work with the Rev E chips long enough to flash. Check here for more info on this.

read the xbits lab review..

They ran a Venice core on the DFI mobo w/ the current bios.

it runs on the CPU. just not to your best interest to keep it on that BIOS
