DFI NF4 SLI Infinity

I've been considering the NF4 SLI Infinity mainly because of the locations of the CPU socket, the 1st PCIe x16 slot, and the chipset (I want to add a Zalman CNPS7000-AlCu, a 6600GT with a VF700-AlCu, and a SwifTech MCX159-A chipset cooler for the sake of noise and cooling, and after looking at board layouts, I think the NF4 SLI Infinity will allow me to use all three cooling components). In addition, I've read that it has some relatively good OC'ing capabilities (esp. with respect to DDR voltages and FSB range).

Initially, I'd transfer my 3200+ Winchester (OC'ed to 2.4GHz in my K8N Neo2, hoping to at least achieve the same) to the board. However, I'd like to move to dual core later this year, and I don't see the Athlon64 X2 listed for this board's CPU support list (or on any of the BIOS updates). Does anyone know if the NF4 SLI Infinity supports dual core? If not, do you think DFI will release a BIOS update? Since the Infinity series is rather new, I guess I initially assumed it supports dual core.

check dfi.street. i'm sure it does and if it doesn't theres no reason a new bios wouldn't fix it.

i'm awaiting fedex with my infinty ultra as well 🙂
