DFI NF4 SLI Expert reporting temp incorrectly?

I've got an Opteron 170 @ 2.7ghz / 1.55v and MBM5 is reporting 28C idle, I'm using a scythe ninja while piecing together a WC system, but I think these temps have to be wrong. Does anyone have any info about these boards and improper temp. reporting?

The Expert board is known for inaccurate temps...and everyone is waiting on a bios update that will hopefully fix this problem.

use Central Brain Identifier, I cant remember exactly where, but it gives you a thermal offset. add the number it gives to your temp and thats approx the real temp. on a mates SLI-D I believe his was 8.

That sounds about right...most average 8-10c low.

Yeah, though CBID did give me a thermal offset of 2 for another SLI-D. that was actually the same day, I got to play on 2 rigs with SLI-D motherboards in one day. I was very surprised.

LOL, I knew smartgaurdian was off when I ran prime overnight and was getting 32deg C on air (xp120 vantec stealth fan) with a low 15% OC. Thanks for the info.......... It will help while I go higher.
