I'm trying to play an MPEG file on my TV, everything is working properly except for the audio. I have RCA connections from the video card (Yellow jack) to the video port on my DVD player's front input (Yellow) and the SPDIF audio out port (Yellow on motherboard) to the audio on the front of the DVD player (White, have also tried red)

I can't get audio to play. Is there something I need to change in my configuration? I don't see anything like this in the nvidia mixer.

Found the jumper, thanks. It's switched over to the nVidia sound now, but still no luck :(

That is your problem. SPDIF or Sony/Philips Digital Interface is digital you will need a digital reciever to hear SPDIF audio. I know b/c Im an audio engineer so ya. Get a digital reciever or get a cheap 1/8" to 2 RCA converter and use that as audio out put there like 10$ at frys and Best Buy or on outpost $1.49+SH Here. . Just plug it in to the 1/8" line out port on Sound Card.
