specs

2 things that seem good about it is that it has 3 PCI ports (2 on Lanparty)
The chipset is located so that it will not conflict with videocards, if you decide to use another cooling solution than the standard.

It doesn't have a PCIe 4x port as on the Lanparty, but ATM that does not seem to be a problem.

I'm pleased with the K8N Ultra...same setup but it also includes 2 SATA chipset which include SATAII and RAID5...also comes with 1394b.
The only downside of this board IMO has been the Southbridge Heatsink which gets hot but I remedied that">http://puters.ledm.us/images/GigabyteK8NUltra.jpg</a>...also it's not a Super OCing Mobo.

I will probably be doing som o/c, therefor DFI. And I might decide to use watercooling if I feel like spending some cash. And if I do decide on water, I need the southbridge to be clear off the PCIe x16 slots. I'm not going to need any RAID options, just a single Raptor, and then use my external 250Gb drive and DVD burner if I need more sapce.
