John,
DFI accidentally shipped out their stock of boards before they remembered to forward one to me. There is a customer at AMDMB forums that has one, and one at OC forums that has one. Other than that, none others have come forward for help or to brag about it heh. I should be getting mine within the week, or possibly next week if you can wait that long. Its mainly a scaled down LP board, but dont quote me on that until I have had a day to spend with it in my case =)

its just an MCP, not the MCP-T
no SS audio, but it does have 6-channel with digital SPDIF.
If you want the pdf feature sheet (about 10k or so), please PM me with your email address and I will send it to you
Plus I'll let you know when I actually have the board heh.

hrmm..i didnt notice there wasnt an AGP clip =( Ill check that out when I get it heh.
They do make single channel NF2 boards...I just read a reveiw about the difference between the ASUS A7N8X (Dual Channel) and the ASUS A7N8X-X (single chan).
mostly the DC board wins by a few frames per second or percentage points...but most of the tests are dead even! And the -X is cheaper, and should not have the problems of dc boards. Should is the key lol.
I don't know much about solteks =( Other htan the Purple-Ray boards were very good, and really started this whole 'lets make our mobo's pretty and fast!' thing =)

When I looked at the DFI page before, it said just MCP, but where they talked about the LAN, they say it is the Nvidia provided LAN.
" LAN
nVIDIA® nForce2 MCP and ICS1893 Phy chips
Integrated IEEE 802.3, 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX compatible PHY
"
It was the MCP-T that had LAN, I thought. MCP-T has both LAN and sound. You get both or neither. Of course they don't have to use the Nvidia sound. But since they do use it on the LAN Party, why would they do that?
Nvidia Soundstorm Table
According to this link (which I just picked up from another thread) the DFI NFII Ultra-AL has MCP-T and SPP. It also seems to be Soundstorm certified because it has an x in the column just like the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe does, which is known to have Soundstorm. So which is it really?
If somebody has this motherboard, it is easy to see the markings on the chip. (The other big, square one, the SPP, is covered with a heatisink.) I know the LAN Party version of the motherboard, which I have, has the MCP-T.
