I never would have called DFI the best brand......they played very fast and loose with specs on Intel boards, for example. Voltages that were spec'd at one level were found to be a bit higher routinely. Made OC'ing out of the box easier, but also burned out components quicker than others and created some instability in the long run.

If DFI had truly been the "best" brand, they'd have found a way to stay in business as their sales should have been much, much better than they were.

ok the reply i wanted was where to get drivers not your opinion on if they best or not.. haha.. i already know they are best, and the reason they are gone is because the team quit or left to go somewhre else or something. 3 the head people gone, they had no choice but to close up shop i guess :( but to take down the website? WTF stupid ass dfi put it back up

If you are looking for drivers for DFI LanParty NF-XX boards you can get those directly from the nVidia website no need for a DFI website or CD.

I know they're not the best, haha. And you're also surprised that a company that went out of business took down its website? Guess that just shows a complete lack of any sort of being in touch with reality....who pays for it being up? Oh....the ghost of DFI past, I suppose.

They are too expensive for what they offer and very finicky, plus a continuing shrinking desktop market doesn't help either.

I've just visited the DFI site and there's a link on the front page to the LANPARTY download page.

Was just there checking that out before I read this post. Some good memories from back late 90s. Abit,DFI,EPOX,Asus,MSI,GB. etc..

Was a lot of choices to make when building a system. Golden times....

My TX-5 still works like a champ. Can't do much with it any longer but, oh well.

I miss the old days of getting components at weekend swap meets. Good times.

little tiny Support & Download link in bottom right of page.

really the only thing u need from any mobo manufacturers site is the bios and manual. the rest of the drivers are better to get from the maker of the individual component. like get nforce chipset drivers from nvidia, sound drivers from realtek if it used a realtek chip, nic drivers from the nic makers site. this goes for even modern mobos because the drivers on the mobo maker site are almost always outdated.

lol what is this modern LGA 775 DFI mobo with 3 ISA slots?!

Got a old x48 DFI black series mobo with a e8200 still awaiting a case and powersupply.

Pretty sweet mobo i think but not as kick ass as my old asus rampage formula was on x48.

You could buy it at a fine price! :p Puts away stranger from the resident evil games.

DFI LanParty with 939 was my first sli setup.
It was also the first mb to die for no reason in 18 months.
DFI mb were leading edge stuff from the start.

O thats funny, the tiny gray button yes i found it with your help i click on top support buttons and saw they had almost no motherboards listed.. phewf thnx.. ya i have 939 dfi motherboards still working fine, never had a dfi motherboard die, even have one with melted sata ports from someoen connecting wrong modular power cable to sata drive and drive melted it =P Still works fine. now asus and gigabyte i have a wall of there dead motherboards in my garage. had to rma a asus mobo 5 times once to get a working one. (and yes it was the motherboards fault)
