DFI mobo won?t time RAM properly

My DFI Infinity 875p simply refuses to run my RAM by SPD, or anything under 2.5-3-3-8. SPD is 2-3-2-6, and I?d had this RAM running @ 2-3-2-6 for over a year on my old Intel 875 Mobo. Extra voltage does nothing; setting timings to anything under 2.5-3-3-8 in BIOS manually does nothing, still boots to 2.5-3-3-8. I?m really at my wits end here, I?m totally confused, anyone have any suggestions?

Let it boot to what it is happy with -
You really won't notice a difference unless you are running loads of "my system is better than your crappy system" software.

If it doesn't crash, then fine - You really are not gonna gain much except reputation as a loner.
