Hello....Had trouble with OS installation and loss of network on DFI LP nF3 with A64.
System:
DFI LP UT nF3 250Gb w/ A64 3400+
ZalMan CPU cooler
LG DVD
Floppy
Matrox Graphics card (using this till my new card arrives)
WD 120 IDE?.this is one I am installing to
2 x Maxtor 120 SATA
Operating system in WinXP w/SP2 integrated.
Problems:
During OS installation:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL followed by hex ending in 0x8051E9EF
Checked seating of cards and cables?.same error (maybe different hex)
Changes graphics cards from Matrox G45 to G4?same error
Changed 512 memory from DIMM 2 to DIMM3. Running matched set of PQIDUAL Turbo 1GB (2x512) DDR PC3200). 512 in DIMM1?.same error
Removed 512 from DIMM3?only running 512 in DIMM1?.same error and also lost USB on keyboard. Moved mouse and keyboard to PS2.
Changed DVD ROM to Plextor?same error
Did long format of harddrive?..Error BIOS is not ACPI compliant?Hit F7 during installation?..got OS to install
Loaded drivers from disk?..no network card (does see firewire)
Loaded driver from website?.no network card.
So that is where I am at?.WinXP SP2 installed, no network, does have sound, no yellow? n device manager, running ½ my memory.
Just will not see network on MB and also all the errors during installation. Any thoughts/advise?
