RD480-DR

I don't get it, it says RD482 on the board but it's called RD480!

Anyway looks very promising, I hope this board will be a crazy overclocker.

Looks interesting, although I'm not too sure about having an ATI board as they're relatively new to this game

Aren't they new to producing chipsets? (I heard their southbridge was extremely buggy so they had to rely on ULi)

Its true their southbridge was very buggy, thats why there havent been too many of them released on this chipset. The northbridge is supposedly very good though, and Uli has a southbridge for it as well as ATI is making a new southbridge now. They certainly havent been making enthusiast parts such as the nforce line for very long, but they have long made notebook grapics/chipsets so its not like they dont know what they are doing. Bottom line, if you just dont like nvidia and want dual graphics, this is the board for you. Me persoally, ill wait a while to see which platform is really faster before making a decision.

They say that the ULi is more stable but I think the ATI southbridge will be more featured.
