I'm very seriously considering picking up this motherboard for a system build i'm doing. I was hoping we'd get a review from Anand soon after release, but haven't seen one yet...maybe its being worked on? :) Anyway, I've read some comments on newegg that its very picky with RAM, does anyone have any comments about this board?

The board is cancelled for the moment due to poor overclocking potential from current SLI chipset. A new one should be available for the next Intel SLI chipset from Nvidia later this year.

Yep, DFI wasnt happy with the current C19 chipset so opted to cancel and delay their 590 offerings for 3 months until nVidia can get their C55 chipset produced. Oct/Nov is the new release time frame. I'm guessing very late October at the earliest but it also depends on how fast nVidia can get the C55 chipset produced.

I think you guys are mistaken. Isn't this an AM2 board? This is the DFI LANParty UT NF590 SLI-M2R/G. The Intel 590 board (DFI LANParty UT nF590SLI-T2R/G) is the one that is cancelled. The board we are talking about is for sale all over the place. Easy mistake to make though with all those letters in their naming schemes.

Ops, you're right.

It's just that after the Conroe release, we almost don't talk anymore about A64 hardware.

Anyhow, does the AM2 variant has also limited o/c ?

Lol yeah the conroes are pretty good.

Looks to be one of the best out there right now if you're amd. Havent heard of any issues wuth oc and the options for overclocking are supposed to be really good.

I think it is an AM2 and not a Conroe board.

Great Board, have not found it to be picky with RAM at this time. If it were not for Conroe this board would have all of the attention on it. I am running a 4000+ X2 on mine (personal board) and with the FX-62 have hit 375HTTx8.

yes, this is the AMD board I wanted to talk about lol not the intel one.
I've been reading comments from users who purchased from newegg, for one. I've read a few different reviews, but most of them so far are simply "this is the board and its features" and I was REALLY hoping Anandtech would do one if its usual stallar reviews of it.
Gary, which brand and speed memory did you use?
