DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Ultra-D questions....

Guys I just upgraded from a 6800 Ultra AGP and ASRock Dual Sata motherboard to a 7800 GT and the DFI Lanparty UT NF4 Ultra-D. I won't get into it, but the ASRock was just not cutting it for me for various reasons. Anyways I have a couple of questions about the Lanparty.

Everytime I plug in a usb device into any of the usb ports, it says that it is not running at the high speed. So I guess it isn't running on usb 2.0? I never had this problem before. I thought that Service Pack 1 or 2 in Windows gave high speed usb support. Am I missing something here? I installed the Nvidia platform drivers, and apparently it wasn't in that package either. Is there a usb 2.0 driver or something that I need to install? If so, where can I get it?

My next question is what is the latest bios for this motherboard? If I were to upgrade the bios, I am terrible at this. I was hoping to use some software to make it easier. I noticed on DFI's website, they have DiamondFlash Image and WinFlash. Which one should I use, or is there a different option? I want it to be as easy as possible. I get lost with the whole floppy disk routine. Thanx for any help on these questions!

My USB works fine. Make sure USB 2.0 is enbaled in your BIOS, not just USB 1.1.

As for using Winflash, I do it cause I dont have a floppy drive, but I highly reccommend you thoroughly tets your comp for stability. If Windows crashes while using winflash, you are SOL

Nope. Just get the latest bios and drivers and such.

I have this problem too. I have the 6/23 driver (which is the "newest" right?). In the bios, my USB is configured for both 1.1 and 2.0, however, windows still tells me that I have no 2.0 ports.

I'm guessing the mp3 player isn't 2.0.

3 minutes for 100mb isn't THAT slow, but ya, that sucks.

This may be a stupid question, but could it be that it possibly has limited bandwidth either from other PCI cards stealing or that it's just a PCI card with USB?
