Ok, I just got a new copy of Windows XP 64bit and am REAL excited. I have a SATA HD but I realized that the little SATA driver that they gave me on floppy disk doesn't work b/c thats for the 32 bit windows.

I used the DFI site, but I can't seem to find the boot up SATA/RAID floppy
http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/d...?PRODUCT_ID=2840&STATUS_FLAG=A&SITE=US

I went to this site:
http://www.planetamd64.com/lofiversion/index.php/t2999.html

It was very helpful but all the programs that they list there... well i don't have access to them. Can anyone help me out...

I don't suppose you have an IDE drive you could load as an operating system , then ghost it to a SATA.....

Are you wanting to use RAID?
Cos if not, there is a chance that SATA might not need the drivers to work - try it.

Good news guys

I got the installation to work, and I got the SATA drive to work.

Now the problem is the drivers I found at the DFI site for the 64bit Windows do not want to work.

Anyone have any ideas?

I am glad to see I am not the only one who ran into that problem. When I tried to use DFI's drivers, XP-64 said the drivers were an unreadable file format. Has anyone gotten this to work?
