Great board, great CPU (AMD64 2800+), all works perfectly.. Except!
I am completely unable to get Cool'n'Quiet to work with it. I have done as instructed on both AMD's and DFI's website :
1. Enable Cool'n'Quiet in BIOS.
2. Install CPU driver (done both DFI/AMD's, several times..)
3. Change power management options to "Minimal Power Management"
4. Rebooted (several times, just for luck)
Nothing! Start up CPU-Z, show it running at 1.801Ghz. Check system properties, the same..
I'm NOT O/C it at all.. Set the BIOS to factory defaults, enabled Cool'n'Quiet and still no luck.
I've emailed DFI and they've basically said that some chipsets don't support it, even though their website (and every product description I've seen of the board) states that it does.
Does anyone else out there have this board and is able to run Cool'n'Quiet? I'm thinking I'll send it back for a replacement and hope for better luck, but I just thought I'd check first.
